For Earth Day this year I took a break from writting and baked an Earth Day cake. These are the people who were unknowingly sucked into my earthday celebration.

Hello everyone. Sorry I'm been slow to update my blog. It has been a busy couple of months. One of things I've done is graduate from the U of L. I got my diploma in the mail while training to be a flight attendant they also sent me a graduation rope that i'm wearing around my neck.

This past week we had to presentations for my swimming class. I couldn't get a hold of anyone in my group. It was the night before we were to present, so I decided that I was just going to do the whole thing myself. My groups assignment was to explain all the programs offered by the university pool, aka the Max Bell Regional Aquatic Center. Much of the mark depended on creativity so I decided I would have the two girls start out by complaining that they were bored and that there was nothing to do. Then I would enter "never fear the Max Bell Regional Aquatic centre Man is here!" then I would proceed to tell them about all the programs offered by the pool. So I write the whole thing up as a script so they can just read it. I e-mail it to them and say I hope you like this i think we should meet at 8h30 tomorrow to run through it. Our presentation was at nine. I show up the next morning only one girl is there to practice and I forgot she was a Chinese exchange student and could barely speak English. We read it through a couple of times without the other girl. Right as class starts, she shows up. She says she hasn't had time to read it and wants to practice. So we go into the hallway and as soon as we are there she is like "oh, did you guys see the presentations on Wednesday they were soo good! what are we going to do?" Me and the Chinese girl looked at each other confused. "How about we just do this ?" she asked holding the script. "OK but we need music . did you bring any music?" I'm like "no...? I brought a superhero outfit." then she says "OK well I don't know what we are going to do. We have to come up with a way to engage the audience." I tried to tell her as nicely as I could that it was probably too late for that. " i guess we will have to improvise as we go." she said. Then, just as we were about to read the script, the teacher calls us in because, of course, class is starting. So we went in and did our presentation having never read through it. It actually went really well.

This is a picture of a over head projector I stole from the school. I needed one to do my last project. So I went in the school found one and took it home. I thought someone would have stopped me but I guess that if you look like you know what you are doing no one asks any questions. I'm planning on returning it as I have not yet turned to a life of crime. Still I wonder what else I could take.

For 10 percent of my mark in my swimming class we have to time a swim meet. I had to take this Saturday off work to do it, which was upsetting because it was Saint Patrick's so i could have made a ton of money. I couldn't stay mad for long, though, because it turned out to be the Special Olympics. And you can't be mad timing for the Special Olympics. it was actually really fun. They even gave us ribbons.

This is another project I did for my drawing class. I hope you can see it. It a landscape of one of the schools computer labs. I drew it in thread sewn through fabric. its about a meter high and a meter and a half long.

My independent study on the nature of truth is taking up much of my time these days. Its due in April. I'm going to put working drafts of it on the blog, probably in the comments section of this post, for you to peruse.

I went home last week for Spring Break and did some kick butt snowboarding. Here's a picture of me with the fam before I left. they were going to church.

Zach, Jared and Britt came out last weekend, for a reunion of the bottom four simblings. It was the first time Zach and I have seen Jared since he's been back from Peru. Wow, was it fun. We went rock climbing, we went out fine dining, we went to a wedding, we went to a Dance, but for some reason the only picture I have is of Zach playing operation.
