Work on Thesis

This is a project I did for my drawing III class. We were suposed to do something that would explore the notion of drawing. I wanted explore the way a drawing takes 2d lines and tone to create a 3 dimensional illusion. I decided to inverse this process by making lines and tones out of 3 dimensional objects to create a 2 dimensional illusion. I made this by folding pieces of mayfair paper and glueing them together. the choice of paper, also, alludes to the tradition of drawing.

So last thursday, I was in class and the university started filling with smoke. You can imagine my surprize when, following the smoke, I found a brush fire blazing away at the rear entrance of the school.

Here's a picture of me and Zach after the Kelowna marathon. I've been going light on the running these days, but I have been doing alot of swiming. Hopefully I'll start doing some triathalons. I am registered for the Lethbridge moonlight 10k. I'm super excited for it.
